Career Day

On October 9th Richfield Residential Hall held its 1st Annual Career Day. This individuals from the community were asked to speak on numerous job fields that they represented.  The  students were given an opportunity to attend four different job fields to explore different careers.  A major goal of Richfield Residential Hall is to make sure every student is College and Career Ready by the time they graduate.  It is essential for students to be exposed to as many careers and fields to allow them to make informed decisions about their future. One student, Schaielyn Descheny said, “The career fair was cool. I realized after that I want to be a Pharmacist, and I can graduate with a certificate from Snow College.” We would like to thank the individuals who volunteered their time to speak to the students:

Tom Bogh, Contractor for SES Green Energy
Dustyn Allen, High School Teacher/Artist for South Sevier High
Alan Palmer, Welding Instructor for Snow College
SSG Mckinlay, Recruiter for the National Guard
Officer Burrows, Police Officer for Richfield City
Tabitha Herrera, Court Clerk for the Navajo Nation
Mrs. Weimer, Pharmacy Instructor/Nursing for Snow College
