Headed to Home Sweet Home
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010Senior Fundraisers
Friday, September 25th, 2009The senior sponsors, Jason Taylor and Ruby Yepa, have been helping the seniors by having Navajo Taco sales to raise money for a senior trip at the end of the year. Their first fundraiser was at the Annual ATV Jamboree here in Richfield. People from all over the country and the world come for this annual. This year they broke the record for the number of ATVs in a parade, 2,014 4-wheelers paraded down the streets of Richfield. The second fundraiser took place at the Richfield High School Homecoming football game. The seniors are well underway in raising money for their trip.
We Made It!
Saturday, August 22nd, 2009Buses pulled into Richfield on Monday evening (August 17), and students and staff have been running ever since. This week has been full of registration, orientation, meetings, discussions of rules, and getting used to a new environment and people. The first week is always hard because of how busy things are.
Now that we are settling in and getting used to our new home, we actually have the time to have some fun. We have so many fun activities planned for the next few months. Just in the next few weeks, we will be going to the Utah State Fair, hiking in Capitol Reef National Park, and hosting a block party for our community. Take a look at the “Calendar” section of our website to see what is planned for today. Thanks to all of the parents for allowing your student to have this amazing opportunity!

Fall/Winter Sports
Thursday, February 19th, 2009Being involved in sports takes a lot of time and dedication. A typical day for our athletes consists of classes, practicing after school for about 2 hours, returning to the dorm to grab a quick bite to eat, and before they know its time for study hall. It often wears on them, but they push themselves for their teams! We are very proud of their fine examples and excellent sportsmanship!

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008Holiday Treats
Monday, November 24th, 2008The student council would like to thank Kaye & Pete Weimer (maintenance man/homeliving assistant) for the delicious treats they provide for the staff and students each holiday. The treats are very creative and each treat fits into the holiday theme. Also, Pete’s sister has made cookies for the students to eat on their long bus trips home. She has also donated coats, gloves, and other food items for the students. We appreciate the Weimer family for their thoughtfulness!
