Senior Fundraisers
Friday, September 25th, 2009The senior sponsors, Jason Taylor and Ruby Yepa, have been helping the seniors by having Navajo Taco sales to raise money for a senior trip at the end of the year. Their first fundraiser was at the Annual ATV Jamboree here in Richfield. People from all over the country and the world come for this annual. This year they broke the record for the number of ATVs in a parade, 2,014 4-wheelers paraded down the streets of Richfield. The second fundraiser took place at the Richfield High School Homecoming football game. The seniors are well underway in raising money for their trip.
Utah State Fair
Friday, September 25th, 2009Saturday, September 10th, the students traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the Utah State Fair where they could munch on corn dogs, cotton candy, candy apples, nachos, hot dogs, Gyros, fry bread, fried Twinkies, and many other delicious foods! After filling up, they rode rides that would make you want to “Ralph”, but that didn’t end the fun! They walked through exhibits and watched different forms of entertainment throughout the fair park.
Capitol Reef
Friday, September 25th, 2009On Saturday, September 5th, the students took a field trip to Capitol Reef National Park where they spent the day hiking and cooking out before returning home. Capitol Reef covers 378 square miles of colorful canyons, ridges, buttes, and monoliths. This is a favorite activity for our students, as they enjoy the great hikes and the beauty of the park!
