Mr. Keisel and Mr. Workman just returned from the annual recruiting trip to the Western Navajo Agency. Brittney Bekay, Brittney Jim, and Merle Watchman did an outstanding job representing our student body and our program. We were fortunate to be accompanied on this trip by Mr. Hunt, Mrs. Adams, and Mr. Allen from SSHS as well as Mrs. Mackay from RHS.
The recruiting team left Richfield on Wednesday (28th) afternoon and returned on Friday (30th) evening. While on the reservation, the team presented our program to eighth grade students from Tuba City Boarding School, Tonalea Day School, Kaibeto Boarding School, Dennehotso Boarding School, and Kayenta Community School. A planned visit to Chilchinbeto Community School had to be cancelled because school was cancelled due to weather. We met many wonderful students and teachers on this trip, and would like to thank the students, teachers, and administrators of the schools that we visited for allowing us the opportunity to share our program with our future students. We are really looking forward to meeting next year’s Freshmen in the fall!
