Do Your Best!
“Do your best!” That was the prevailing message to the students of Richfield Residential Hall from special guest, Mr. Bill Cly, in a meeting held on Friday, September 21st. A former student and strong supporter of our program, Mr. Cly has served the students, staff, and families of RRH for the past three years as the Vice President of the Richfield Residential Hall Governing Board. He traveled from Kayenta to share a special message of support from the RRH Governing Board. In this message, he encouraged the students to do their best in all things; school, dorm, homework, and activities.
“Challenge yourself, get involved, and together, we will blaze new trails,” Mr. Cly counsels the students in English and Navajo. He concluded his message with the counsel to “make new friends, study hard, play hard, and spread your wings and fly!”
Mr. Cly’s message was followed by a barbecue at a nearby park where students enjoyed skating at the skate park, playing football, basketball, volleyball, frisbee golf, and a bunch of other games as well as some great food! Special thanks to Mr. Cly, the RRH Governing Board, the Sophomore Class, and the kitchen staff for making this such a fun afternoon and evening!
