Reading Challenge: Book Club Tackles “The Host”

This spring Richfield Residential Hall Book Club students will complete “The Host” a novel by best-selling author Stephanie Meyer of the “Twilight” books.  A total of 23 students are involved in this year’s book club.  The club held its first meeting on Sunday, January 6th and will continue to hold consecutive bi-monthly meetings until the end of March.  Students who have completed the books and participated in the discussions throughout the club will be eligible to watch the movie adaption which will be released later at the end of March.  Last year, students tackled “The Hunger Games” and had a great time comparing the books to the film.  The book club this year was put forth by the Action Team who wanted to create a fun way to promote teen reading throughout the dorm.
