Class of 2012 Senior Trip

RRH Senior are ready for the race of life...

May 12, 2012 was our Senior Trip to Salt Lake City.  18 seniors and two staff spent the day in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area.  The trip started at 7am and our first event was at the Gateway Mall in Salt Lake City.  There everyone enjoyed shopping, eating and wandering around until the movies started.  The students had a choice of either watching The Avengers or Dark ShadowsAfter the movie we all enjoyed a bit more shopping and snacking before heading south to Draper, UT.  In Draper the students and two of their advisors,” Miss Bea” Quitco and Mr. Jaime Romero, enjoyed three hours of fun at Boondocks.  At Boondocks there were many fun things to do like: laser tag, miniature golf, batting cages, go-carts, a flight simulator, XD motion rides, an arcade and many other fun things.  When our time at Boondocks was up we continued down to Orem where we ate at Golden Coral.  Some of the favorite things to eat were: all you can eat steak and shrimp, seafood, taco bar, salad bar, pies and the chocolate waterfall.  The students had fun dipping fruit and sweet treats in the chocolate.  The ride back to Richfield was full of giggles and an oldies sing-a-long even broke out.  We had a great time but will miss our graduating seniors.  We look forward to hearing from them in the future and are happy that we were able to help to prepare them a bit better to becoming the leaders of tomorrow. ~ Jamie Romero
