Etiquette Dinner

Early this spring the students had the opportunity to learn dinner etiquette skills from Mrs. Judd, a teacher from South Sevier High School.  Ouida Taylor, a RRH staff member, organized the activity.  She said the students learned simple manners such taking off your hat when entering someone’s home, seating a girl, how to set a table, how to eat soup & salads, and how to use all the utensils & glasses on the table.   Ouida wanted the students to learn these skills because prom was coming up and spring banquets.  Six staff and the kitchen staff helped serve the students in the dining room.  The menu included:  spaghetti, salad, rolls, vegetables, and dessert.
