Richfield Residential Hall hosted National Kick Butts day at the dormitory on Wednesday, March 20th. Counselor, Lisa Taylor, received a national grant to fund the event. Together, Lisa and her team of student volunteers organized the activities. The event included a kickball game played by the particpants as well as educational booths and concessions. Students lined up to pledge against using tobacco where they wrote their names and their reasons for living a healthy life. Students also enjoyed some cool treats which included root beer floats as well as snow cones provided by the RRH seniors towards their fundraiser. Richfield Residential Hall will be nationally recognized for the group’s efforts to make this event possible. Altogether the event was a fun day for those who participated!
