RRH Conducts Richfield City Food Drive

The dorm celebrates a theme every month and for November and December the themes are Gratitude and Charity.  The students have been busy conducting service projects left and right here at Richfield Residential Hall!

This Saturday, November 23rd, 91 of our students teamed up with Central Utah Food Sharing and conducted the entire Richfield area food drive.  The students went door to door on foot and covered Richfield City boundaries.  According to Roene Shaw, the food service director, we generated just under 2500 lbs. of food just within our one day group collection.  The students began at 9am and finished around noon.  This equates to a collective 273 hours of service generated in one day conducted by Richfield Residential Hall.

Richfield Reidential Hall strives to provide students the opportunity  to become life-long learners and contributing citizens.  Students are growing and learning the themes this Holiday season.  As a bonus, the kids are having fun and hopefully adopting these themes into life-long values.
