SERT

Several Richfield Residential Hall students successfully completed the SERT (Student Emergency Response Team) course. This intense course covered emergency procedures for a myriad of natural disasters and accidents ranging from earthquakes to car accidents, and is the student version of the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Class. Students learned in a hands-on fashion many critical emergency response skills to include first aid, CPR, and evacuation procedures. Students participated in classes that were three hours long, two nights per week for three consecutive weeks. These courses were during the students valuable personal time, and their dedication to learning these valuable skills is greatly admired and appreciated by the students and staff of Richfield Residential Hall, as well as the community members involved in similar teams.
