Cultural/Clans Presentation
On Sunday, August 26 Richfield Residential Hall held a cultural assembly. Ms. Herrera, known to all the students as “Grandma,” presented the students with a discussion of the student’s rich cultural heritage. Dine’ students were taught about their clans and the importance of the relationships that arose from those clans. Richfield Residential Hall is also lucky to have students that represent the Kiowa, Apache, and Hopi tribes as well. Students were taught some of the history and stories that have been passed down. Staff enjoyed sharing this with the student body and students enjoyed learning about who they are and where they come from.
