Girls’ Campout

Girls campout started on Friday May 9th.  The girls camped at Maple Grove  and all took part in the set up!  Girls had roasted marshmallows and made s’mores.  It was an awesome evening.  On Saturday morning, the day started with hot breakfast and a lot hiking.  Most of the girls stayed behind and got lunch and dinner ready.  Part of the meal included mutton stew with steamed corn and frybread.  The girls looked forward to eating it!

On Sunday morning @ 5am, Ms. Herrera woke up to a lot of snow coming down.  Quickly she brought all the girls off the mountain and back towards the warm dorm.  Many of the girls stated they had a super time.
