It Pays to go to School!

Perfect attendance really does pay!

Richfield Residential Hall Freshman, Karlyle James learned that going to school really can pay off. He was recently recognized in an awards assembly at Richfield High School for his perfect attendance record. Karlyle received $60 for not missing a single day of school all year! He also received an additional $40 for not being tardy to a single class all year long! Karlyle is headed home $100 richer for being where he was supposed to be, when he was supposed to be there…every time! Great job, Karlyle! Congratulations.

Mr. Workman, RRH Director, said that while it is a major accomplishment, he was not surprised to hear that Karlyle had earned the award. “Karlyle is a hard working and respectful young man who always goes out of his way to help others. He is a pleasure to be around and I really enjoy talking with him after school each day.”

Let’s hope that we have more students earn this award next year!
