RRH Alumni: Denis “Denny” Tsosie
I attended the Richfield Dormitory from school years 1963 thru 1967 and graduated from Richfield High School. The time spent at Richfield are most memorable and I was heavily involved in sporting activities and carried my own weight in the field of academia.
After Richfield I attended college in Long Beach, California and received my Associates in Sciences Degree in 1969 and I never got around to finishing up my college education and instead went into the field of construction and held positions of journeyman carpenter, steam plant operator, plant repairman, assistant business agent for IBEW 266, and train operator, and I spent over 30 years at the Navajo Generating Station employed by the Salt River Project.
In 2007 I attended the 40th Reunion and reconnected with the RHS class of 1967.
I cherish the time spent at Richfield and the training, teachings, and lessons learned there carved me a wonderful career and life – no regrets.
I currently serve as RRH Governing Board Secretary and look forward to doing a second term.
