RRH Winter King and Queen

Richfield Residential Hall held its 2nd Annual Winter King and Queen competition during the week of Monday the 10th through Saturday the 15th.  A total of 8 contestants, 5 girls and 3 boys, ran for the title of RRH Qeen or King.  The Queen contestants were: Abby Smallcanyon, Aubrey Manson, Maurenna Billie, Kiyla Butler, and Cheyenne Billie.  King Contestants were: Milton Yazzie, Andre Denny, and Chandler Deal.

Each Day of the week, contestants competed in head to head challenges.  Monday’s challenged featured a scavenger hunt, Tuesday’s challenge was an RRH trivia contest, Wednesday featured a pie eating contest, Thursday was a Skittles candy race, and  Friday was a Just Dance X-Box Competition.

On Saturday, December 15th, contestants completed the final challenge, a pageant which featured evening wear, talent, and a final question.  At the end of the night, Milton Yazzie was crowned King and Cheyenne Billie was crowned Queen.  Contestants received a $25.00 Wal-mart card courtesy of Hinton and Burdock LLC. Also, Andre Denny was crowned Mr. Congeniality of the competition and recieved a $10 Radio Shack gift card courtesy of Radio Shack.
