The Maine!
Monday January 27 the band “The Maine” came to Richfield to perform at the SVC building. RRH got their hands on 25 tickets donated to our
students by Joe Anderson from the Sevier Valley Events Center. Those that were on our high honor roll got first dibs to choose if they wanted to go to the concert. “The Maine” is a band consisting of five male members from Arizona. Their genre mainly alternative/ indie/ rock. Forever Halloween 2014 tour came through Richfield, Utah at the Sevier Valley Center.
Students were released from the RRH early to get the best seats possible. Five of our lucky students got front and center seats. Those students were Calsie Sockyma, Nena Snake, Aubrey Manson, Amber Thomas, and Cattarina Chase. The crowd was full of energy. Staff Nolan Kjar could hear our students screams and yells. He could really tell that most of the students were having a blast. Some of the students got souvenirs such as
guitar picks, calenders, and CD’s. After the concert students that stayed after got autographs and pictures taken with the band members. When asked about the show the next day, Tamara Butler said, “It was awesome!”
If you haven’t seen or heard of The Maine, you really should. They are very talented and put on a great show. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share this evening with them. Thanks, Mr. Anderson!
