Toys for Tots: Seniors Complete Service Project

On December 5, 2012, the Senior Class of Richfeild Residential Hall made fry bread and sold them at Christmas Tree Lane at Sevier Valley Center that evening.  Seniors were all involved in the process of cooking and frying the bread.  All the money earned from the fry bread sales went to the “Toys for Tots” foundation.  Two people including a Marine donated money for the cause!  This was extremely touching four our students!

On Tuesday, December 11, 2012, several of our Senior students went to Larsen’s Ace Hardware and purchased toys.  Lance Larsen, owner of the store matched every toy we purchased.  So needless to say, we were all pleasantly suprised and happey that we were able to a 2 for 1 deal.  $200 worth of toys were donated to “Toy’s for Tots!
